How to Store a Crave Max 2500 So It Lasts

Store it upright, at room temperature, out of direct sunlight. That is most of the advice. The details below matter more if you have bought a box and are working through it over months.
The four rules
1. Upright, not on its side
Lying a device flat lets e-liquid pool around the coil and seep toward the airflow path. That causes gurgling, liquid in the mouthpiece and a weak draw. Standing it mouthpiece-up keeps the coil correctly fed.
2. Room temperature
Heat is the main enemy. It thins e-liquid, accelerates flavor degradation and stresses the battery. A car in summer is the worst place you can leave a disposable — dashboard temperatures climb far beyond anything the device was designed for.
Cold is less damaging but causes its own problem: thickened e-liquid wicks slowly, so a cold device produces weak vapor until it warms up.
3. Out of direct sunlight
UV degrades e-liquid and can discolor it. A drawer, cupboard or box is better than a windowsill.
4. Away from children and pets
This one is not about performance. Nicotine is toxic in small quantities and these devices look like consumer electronics. Store them well out of reach.
Storing a box
If you have bought the box deal, you are storing devices for longer, so conditions matter more.
- Keep the box somewhere with a stable temperature — not a garage, attic or car
- Use older devices first so nothing sits for an extended period
- Leave devices in their sealed packaging until you use them
- Avoid anywhere damp

Do disposables expire?
There is no hard expiry date, but e-liquid quality does decline over time. Nicotine oxidises slowly, which can dull flavor and shift it slightly darker. Stored properly, a device should perform as intended well beyond the time it takes most people to work through a box. Stored badly, quality falls off much faster.
Travelling with one
- Carry it in hand luggage, not checked baggage. Devices with lithium batteries are generally not permitted in the hold.
- Expect pressure changes to cause minor leaking. Store upright and in a sealed bag.
- Check the rules where you are going. Vape regulations vary widely by country and by US state, and some places restrict or prohibit these products entirely.
Frequently asked questions
Can I store a disposable in the fridge?
Not recommended. Cold thickens the e-liquid and condensation on the device when it warms can cause problems. Room temperature is better.
Why is my device leaking?
Usually storage on its side, a large temperature change, or pressure change during travel. Stand it mouthpiece-up and wipe the contacts and mouthpiece dry.
How long can I keep an unopened Crave Max 2500?
There is no fixed limit. Kept sealed, cool and dark it holds up well. Use older stock first if you have several.
Does storage affect puff count?
Indirectly. Heat-degraded liquid and a stressed battery both reduce real-world performance below the rated 2,500 puffs.
